Meet Marie Suzanne
Welcome to my blog! I’m Marie and I’m so glad you’re here! I was born and raised in the Midwest where I attended the University of Illinois (Go Fighting Illini!) as an undergraduate and Eastern Illinois University as a graduate student. After finishing my masters in 2017, I moved to Dallas, TX to begin my first job as a medical speech-language pathologist. I work at a brain injury rehabilitation facility, and If you ask me what my favorite part of my job is, I will tell you “the patients” every single time - their determination and hard work inspires me every single day!
My fiance Chris and I met in 2017 through mutual friends. I moved to Dallas two weeks after we started dating, so we were in a long-distance relationship for over two years! Chris spent most of those two years on an airplane because he visited pretty much every other weekend! In August of 2019, he finally moved to Texas. We love living in Dallas and are convinced it’s one of the BEST cities ever! We got engaged in August of 2020 and we are planning a winter wedding in Illinois for December of 2021. I will be sharing some wedding ideas and inspo here on my blog. I cannot wait for all of the evergreen and winter cocktails!
My hope is for my blog to be your favorite lifestyle, beauty, fashion, food/drink, and travel resource! I am such a girl’s girl, and I can’t wait to share inspiration, advice, and good finds with you! Whether it be a pair of white sneakers that go with any outfit, a travel guide to one of my favorite locations, a nail color I’m loving, or a crowd pleasing recipe, I hope to share ideas that make life easier, and leave anyone who visits my page feeling inspired and confident!
